Terms of use
Last updated October 3, 2026
These terms cover your use of the Humph app and this website, made by Node and Scale LLC ("we"). By using Humph you agree to them and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to apps from the App Store.
What Humph is
Humph helps you track spending and plan to payday. Its numbers come from what you enter, and its tips are suggestions, not financial advice. Decisions about your money are yours.
Humph Pro
- Pro is optional. Logging, check-ins, sync and export stay free.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Payment goes to your Apple ID.
- The yearly plan may start with a free trial; if you don't cancel during the trial, it renews as a paid subscription.
- Manage or cancel in your iPhone's Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Your data
Your data lives on your devices and in your iCloud, as the privacy policy explains. Keep iCloud on or export a CSV now and then if you want a backup; we can't restore data we never had.
Fair use
Don't reverse engineer the app, misuse it to break the law, or try to interfere with its services.
No warranty
Humph is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't promise it will be error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Humph in the past 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Using Humph after a change means you accept it.
